Airbnb Competitor Analysis
Compare your listing with a small set of real Airbnb properties to identify differences in stated amenities and guest expectations. Supply three competitors yourself or start with up to ten destination search candidates.
Airbnb Competitor Analysis: How this analysis works
- 1
Enter your listing, destination and guest count. Optional dates keep a dated search tied to a specific trip.
- 2
The tool reads up to three comparison listings in more detail. Check their location, property type and capacity before treating them as competitors.
- 3
Read the amenity matrix as a comparison of public statements. Decide whether a gap needs clearer listing text, better guest guidance or a genuine property improvement.

Illustrative example
Nearby apartments advertise workspace amenities while your listing is silent about a desk that already exists. First confirm the comparables serve similar guests. Updating accurate information is a different decision from buying new furniture.

What this result can and cannot tell you
- Search candidates are a convenience sample, not a representative market census.
- Not listed, explicitly unavailable and listed as available are different states.
- The tool does not observe actual bookings, occupancy or revenue, and it does not estimate the return from adding an amenity.

Questions before you start
Can I choose my own Airbnb competitors?
Yes. Enter up to three public listing URLs to use a comparison set you have already reviewed.
How are competitor listings selected?
The discovery path uses a bounded destination search. Review the resulting property's capacity, location and type; manually selected URLs give you more control.
Are missing amenities definitely absent?
No. An amenity omitted from the source is marked not listed. Only an explicit negative statement is treated as unavailable.
