It answers questions from the information currently available in your HostPilot account, tells you when that information was checked, and can open the right screen when you want to make a change. It never edits, sends, publishes, confirms, cancels, or changes business data for you.

What can you ask HostPilot?

A useful answer should identify the source, state any limitation, and make the next human action easy. It should not pretend that a change has already happened.

HostPilot checks the reservations available to your account, identifies the next confirmed stay, reports when the data was checked, and offers a link to Reservations. If several properties could match, it asks you to choose instead of guessing.

How Ask HostPilot handles a question
The assistant follows a deliberately narrow path so a fluent answer is never mistaken for an action.

Understand the resource
It identifies whether the question concerns a property, reservation, price, calendar, guide, website, task, message, activity, or HostPilot help.

Read the permitted data
The server returns only the bounded information available to the authenticated account. Sensitive access details require an explicit request.

Answer with coverage
The response uses the returned information, includes freshness when it matters, and says when the account does not contain enough evidence.

Navigate, never mutate
When a host wants to act, HostPilot opens the relevant screen. The host reviews and completes the change in the normal interface.
Ask HostPilot is not GuestGPT or message automation
Host Pilot uses different tools for different people. Keeping those roles clear prevents a host assistant from being confused with guest-facing service or automated communication.

What is Ask HostPilot?
Ask HostPilot is the read-only assistant inside the authenticated HostPilot workspace. It answers questions using current account data and can open the relevant screen for the host.
Can Ask HostPilot change my prices or reservations?
No. It cannot change prices, availability, reservations, tasks, websites, guides, or messages. It can explain the current information and navigate you to the screen where you control the change.
What information can Ask HostPilot read?
It can query bounded information about properties, reservations, pricing, calendars, guest guides, websites, tasks, messages, recent activity, and HostPilot help, subject to the authenticated account’s access.
Does Ask HostPilot send messages to guests?
No. Ask HostPilot does not send guest messages. Guest communication and automation are separate Host Pilot workflows with their own controls.
What happens if the data is missing or ambiguous?
HostPilot should say that the information is unavailable or ask which property you mean. It is instructed not to estimate, invent facts, or choose between several properties by itself.
How current are the answers?
Answers come from the current bounded account view returned for the question. The assistant reports the data-check time when freshness materially affects reservations, prices, calendars, or messages.
