Government charges are the part most likely to vary by jurisdiction and booking facts. This tool therefore requires the host to enter the method and taxable base instead of guessing local law.

What should a vacation rental total price include?
Include the accommodation after discounts, every mandatory host fee and the government charges that apply to the quoted stay. Show a refundable deposit separately so guests can distinguish the stay price from money that may be returned.
Is a refundable security deposit part of the stay total?
This calculator shows it separately. Whether and how it must appear in a local price display depends on the booking method and applicable rules, so verify the guest-facing presentation before publishing.
How does the calculator handle lodging tax?
You choose a percentage or fixed amount and enter the taxable base. The calculator does not decide which charges are taxable, whether tax is already included or who must collect it.
Does the currency selector convert exchange rates?
No. It changes formatting only. Enter every amount in the same currency.
Can I send the quote as a booking confirmation?
Not yet. A quote describes price and terms for a limited time. Confirm the reservation only after the required payment, agreement or manual checks are complete.
